Here at our current workshop at 47a Bryant Road, Te Rapa, we now have 330 square meters of space. With 4 hard-working full time staff members, and directors Mike and his wife Ann-Marie, we are delivering high-performance vehicle solutions with a passion. Here's a bit about the team at Sinco!
Mike and Ann-Marie Sinclair - Directors
Michael's experience with fabrication started as young as fifteen, when he left school to do a mild steel welding course, and a stainless steel course. His first job was building truck bodies in Cambridge for a year, followed by working as a general engineer in Otorohanga, at a structural steel workshop in Hamilton, and then finally at Stewart & Cavalier in Te Awamutu, where Michael learned skills such as heavy fabrication, agricultural, and sheet metal work, pipeline welding as well as brake press operating and machining. After five years at Stewart & Cavalier and obtaining a Trade Cert in heavy fabrication, Mike transferred into the automotive fabrication industry, and while working full time in 2004, Sinco Customs was born. In 2006, Michael left Stewart & Cavalier to pursue the passion for his business.
Ann-Marie Sinclair - Director/Accounts and Marketing Manager
Ann-Marie is Sinco's director, marketing manager, and qualified accountant, and has spent the past 15 years in a variety of accounting/admin roles, and now works part-time from the workshop, and full-time as a mum to her and Mike's four children, Paige, Demi, Ashton, and Lex. Ann-Marie's key roles include marketing, advertising, sales, and all other financial tasks. Outside of the workshop, Ann-Marie enjoys fitness, time with the family, and travelling.
Regan Ranby - Sales and Parts Coordinator
I enjoy building and maintaining customer relationships and thrive on progress. I did a decent stint in the Agriculture industry as a service technician/sales representative for robotic milking machines.
I am jumping over to the Automotive industry to indulge my passion for cars.
When not at work, you’ll find me doing various D.I.Y tasks around my lifestyle block or at a car show with Hamilton Hot Rod Club in my 1951 Chevy V8, I appreciate all shapes and sizes of cars and fully encourage the hobby. See you out there!
Larry Holmes - Senior Fabricator
"Building cars is pretty much a way of life for me, as I've grown up in a family with various 1930s hot rods. Currently, I own a MK1 Capri, but I definitely appreciate any quality automobile."
Alex McWhannell - Junior Fabricator
I have a strong passion for cars and fabrication. Growing up I learned a lot from watching my dad run his own engineering business. Coming to the end of my second year in the engineering industry I look forward to an exciting future with Sinco.
Outside of work I enjoy mountain biking and music. I am currently building an RB30det r32 skyline for the street.
Ethan Arnold - Workshop Assistant
Ethan has a passion for performance fabrication to help him build and modify his own track cars.
When he is not working he loves spending all his money on his RB25DET R32.
